I think the problem with realizing own ideas was that the groups were too big and that the Hungarians were very good as a team and very professional, compared to us. Because of this we were very much outshone by them.
What does 'ordinary is different' mean to you after the WINTER ACADEMY? Has your perception changed with regard to the topic or in other points due to the laboratory work?
No, not really, because I already was just as tolerant before as I'm now/afterwards. The only things that really changed are my views of the Hungarians. They enjoy their life in spite of all the problems of their country- I think we Germans don't do this as friskily (especially on the Hungarian evening the feeling of joy was transported very strongly).
Is their something you learned or experienced because of the laboratory?
Hard work pays off, when you're able to bring in something of yourself and see the result.
