The word freak means ‘monstrosity, fooling, crazy or abnormal bloke’. For six days German and Hungarian teenager between 16 and 20 turned into their own personal freak. At the beginning there was action instead of discourse. Try out movements, sounds; act as your monster, question it: Are you in love? Lucky ore not? What’s your „dark side“? Which questions do you have to the world?

This is how ear midgets evolved, who slip into the auditory canals of people and whispered revolutionary things to them, the zombie of a former soccer player, whose favourite music are the screams of others, and a women without bones who lives lonely in the Dead Sea and draws pictures with water colours under the water.

These freaks were looking for their personal object and then together captured stories on video camera: an extension cord loves an old tennis ball, almost kills the water-bottle-rival because of jealousy before they start their happy ‘menage á troi’ in the Dead Sea.

In WONDERLAND a white pillow is snared to a revolution by a clothes-pin and in SLIME objects whisper things at each other: “Usually I communicate with bubbles in different sizes-why can’t I look into the inside of all the stuff in the world?-I fall in love with a guys car and my voice is the voice of the guys car?-I’m not intelligent, but I do intelligent things“.

Normality is different, of course! “I’m so happy!” says Little Red Riding Hood live on stage at the end, while a Video shows 12 freaks in the background, which brawl and fidget trough a Shopping centre in Lichtenberg (district of Berlin). A by passing man comments the action with: “Just go to the west”.
